Adorei esses sobrados da Rua Anhanguera e gostaria que vc.Douglas pesquisasse se, há ainda casas antigas na Rua Matarazzo, pois foi lá que meu avô paterno faleceu em 1920; sabe esse avô descendia de nobres sicilianos e, emigrou para São Paulo em 1899 por não ter perspectivas de sossego em Napoli, uma vez que ele Paolo era perseguido político lá.
Bom Retiro é um bairro lindo de São Paulo. Não sei se até hoje é assim, mas enquanto eu morei nesta cidade, até começo de 1981, parecia que estava numa cidade do interior: crianças brincando com bolinha de gude. A única exceção era a rua José Paulino, essa sim era bem movimentada.
